Description

Canteen, cover and web belt set. Cover is a G&R dated 1942 (last two digits of date are faded but you can clearly see the bottom of the “2”).

The Canteen is a S.M. Inc aluminum body dated 1945. The plastic cap still has the cork inside, which is in excellent conditon.  The web belt is a Model 1936 Pistol Belt. I cannot find a legible maker mark or date. It is original WW2 or earlier with brass keeper and hook,

The canteen cover as no tears or damage. All stitching is tight. The “US” mark on the front is slightly faded but very legible. The canteen is in fine condition. The belt is well used but solid with no tears or damage. Just a nice original WW2  set.
